Hi, my name is Jennifer and I’ve been a Brownsville resident since 2003. I really love this community. It’s full of culture and a sense of family. This town is really committed to bringing people together to create a strong community. I especially appreciate the Mexican culture that is supported here. With events like the Charro Days Fiesta, an annual four-day pre-Lenten celebration. I live here with my husband, daughter and son. We spend a lot of time together as a family, and in our free time we like to visit the Gladys Porter Zoo or the Brownsville Sports Park and getting involved with our church. I also like to contribute to the community by volunteering my time to help keep organizations like Olmito Elementary by serving on the PTA Board and cheering on the Olmito Royals Chess Team.
I started working in the insurance industry in 1997. After 7 years as a LSA-5, I started working for Odyssey/Gentiva Hospice as a Site Revenue Coordinator then Admissions Coordinator for a total of 13 years. I am a Thyroid Cancer Survivor. Having stared cancer in the face, I realize how important insurance is. Whether it be Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Mortgage Protection, Life Insurance or Health Insurance. Being diagnosed with cancer gets your mind to thinking about “what if”. What if I don’t make it…will my family be taken care of? Being an Allstate agent, I make sure what matters most to my customers and future customers is covered.
My agency is located just past the new Walmart and Aquatic Center on Ruben Torres/FM 802.
