Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program Including SAM Workshop

Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program Including SAM Workshop

To help provide a level playing field for small businesses owned and controlled by women, the Federal Government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in the Women-Owned Small Business Program. The federal government's goal is to award at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars to certified Women-Owned Small businesses each year.

This workshop is on the SBA’s Woman-Owned Small Business Certification (WOSB) and the Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) certification.

Discover and Learn:
1) If Government Contracting is for you?
2) What is SAM (System for Award Management) and how to register?
3) How can you grow your business utilizing the SBA government contracting programs?
4) What the Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and the Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) Program pertain
s.

SBA programs and services are provided on a nondiscriminatory basis.
Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.

The Informational Workshops have been organized by the SBA for the community. The SBA?s participation is not an endorsement of any opinion, product or service of the organizations in attendance.
