The Managing Cash Flow Workshop encourages participants to focus on cash flow management as an essential competency for business ownership.

About the Series – Organized by the SBA Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office
Introducing the “Let's Talk Business Series,” a 12-part program that connects entrepreneurs with federal, state, and local small business resources. Whether you're a budding entrepreneur or looking to grow your business, this series covers essential business topics, provides a forum for networking, and promotes success in today’s dynamic business environment. Participants may attend one, two, six, or all sessions.

 

💰Session 3 – Cash Flow Management Basics

Managing Cash Flow emphasizes cash flow management as an essential competency of business ownership. No matter where you are in the development of your business, this session encourages you to answer questions about your business and prepare to meet with your accountant to analyze the flow of cash in and out of your business.

During this session, you’ll learn:

  • The purpose of cash flow management in a start-up business
  • Assess a cash flow cycle and make cash flow projections
  • Identify ways to manage cash flow by managing costs and potential income
  • Learn about expert technical assistance available to improve cash flow management
