Financial Wellness Campaign Kickoff and Resource Fair
The Community Development Corporation of Brownsville will be having a Financial Wellness Campaign Kickoff and Resource Fair Thursday, April 26 at CDCB, 901 E. Levee.
CDCB's La Puerta Program provides no-cost, one-on-one financial coaching and/or group sessions on everything from budgeting to credit 101. CDCB also provides no-cost assistance for individuals wishing to build or repair credit.
The Community Development Corporation of Brownsville will be launching a public awareness campaign on the significance of financial wellness. A resource fair will take place at this event from 9 a.m.- Noon with a special presentation at 10 a.m. The Community Development Corporation of Brownsville will be unveiling their new downtown Brownsville mural and a city-wide community art exhibit that they hope will become a catalyst for discussions on financial health.
