
2025 National Civics Bee® - Brownsville Local Competition
The National Civics Bee® Local Competition in Brownsville is happening on Saturday, April 26th, starting at 11:00 AM, at the Brownsville Events Center. Join us to share your support and cheer on finalists as they compete for local acclaim to advance to the Texas State finals and win cash prizes!
About the National Civics Bee®:
The National Civics Bee® is an annual competition that inspires young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. Join us in this nonpartisan initiative to enhance civics literacy, skills, and participation.
Prizes:
Students will be competing to win cash prizes and be named a Brownsville National Civics Bee® champion! Each finalist will receive a certificate.
- First Place: $500 cash prize
- Second Place: $250 cash prize
- Third Place: $125 cash prize
