Taste of La Frontera

One of the longest running organizations in the Rio Grande Valley is holding its annual Taste of La Frontera (TOLF) on Monday, Jan. 20, at the Brownsville Event Center.

The Mr. Amigo Association will host the event, which will feature regional cuisine from restaurants on both sides of the border.

Nearly 40 years in existence, the Mr. Amigo Association works to promote relations between the United States and Mexico and highlight the culture between Brownsville and Matamoros.

Taste of La Frontera starts at 6 p.m. and pre-sale tickets are $25 per person, and $35 at the door, and can be purchased at Antonio’s Mexican Village, The Brownsville Convention & Visitors Bureau and from any Mr. Amigo Association Board Member.
