Surplus Property Program for the 8(a) Program
The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration Lower Rio Grande Valley District office invite you to a webinar on the Surplus Property Program for the 8(a) Program.
The Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program is intended to help small businesses be successful for the future. Eligible SBA 8(a) participant businesses can now work with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to access federally owned surplus personal property through the donation program. Eligible 8(a) certified firms may obtain federal surplus property from the State Agencies for Surplus Property (SASP) in the state where the property will be primarily located and placed in use.
Ms. Elyzabeth Perkins, Marketing Specialist for the Texas Facilities Commission/Federal & State Surplus Property Program will provide information on how to participate in the surplus program.
