Summer Camp For Change- Friendship of Women

Summer Camp For Change is a 2-day virtual camp dedicated to high school students. The goal of this camp is for youth to build community with like-minded peers, be inspired to become activists in the Rio Grande Valley around issues that matter most to them, and, ultimately, to prevent future instances of violence by acknowledging family and sexual violence are issues connected to other social justice struggles. Youth who participate will earn a $100 stipend for their attendance, a meal stipend, and receive a “camper kit” with all the essentials for this summer camp!
