Seminar : Small Business Tax Tips

To help business owners prepare for the tax season, H&R Block will present a free tax seminar for small businesses on February 23 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce. ''Tax Tips for Small Businesses,'' a seminar sponsored by the UTPA Small Business Development Center (SBDC), teaches business owners how to better manage their small business expenses when filing their taxes. H&R Block tax expert Joseph Anthony will also be on hand to answer individual questions from small business owners. ''It's tax time again, and many business owners may have concerns over small business expenses. Minimizing tax liabilities and taking advantage of tax incentives are vitally crucial to business success, especially for the small business owner.
