SBA Federal Contracting Series: Women-Owned Small Business Program + System for Award Management
As part of the Federal Contracting Series, the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce is collaborating with the U.S. Small Business Administration to bring you the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program workshop on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 10 AM.
The federal government's goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses each year.
At this workshop you will learn about the Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and the Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) Program, the benefits of being an Women-Owned Small Business certified firm, and if you qualify for the WOSB or EDWOSB program.
In addition, you will learn about the WOSB's application process. If your business is owned and controlled by a woman, and you have a product or service you can sell to the federal government, and you want to take advantage of federal contracting opportunities, then this workshop is for you. This is a no-cost informational session.
The presenter will also cover the System for Award Management (SAM) and how to register.
