Memories of a World War II Pilot Book Signing
In honor of Memorial Day, the Brownsville Historical Association will be hosting a book signing of Carl Chilton's latest book, "Memories of a World War II Pilot." Mr. Chilton will recount his days during the war and how it shaped his civilian life afterwards. Carl Chilton is a local historian and author of several books on Brownsville's History including, "Fort Brown: The First Border Post," and "Glady Porter Zoo: A History." He was co-founder of the CPA firm LongChilton and has been a long time RGV resident. Copies of the book are available in La Tienda Gift Shop. Members receive a 10% discount. This event is free to the public
