Mr. Chilton will recount his days during the war and how it shaped his civilian life afterwards. \n\nCarl Chilton is a local historian and author of several books on Brownsville's History including\, "Fort Brown: The First Border Post\," and "Glady Porter Zoo: A History." He was co-founder of the CPA firm LongChilton and has been a long time RGV resident.\n\nCopies of the book are available in La Tienda Gift Shop. Members receive a 10% discount. This event is free to the public
