Memorial Illumination at Resaca de la Palma Battlefield

Thanks to the Brownsville Community Foundation and The National Park Service. Resaca de la Palma is now a unit of the Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park. Please join The National Park Committee in participating and showing are appreciation.

Experience and participate in the lighting of 8,000 candles to honor U.S. and Mexican veterans of 1846 battles near the Rio Grande.

Living History demonstrations begin at 3PM.
Dedication Ceremony at 4:30PM.
