Junior Ghost Hunting Camp
Calling all kids ages 8 to 14! Think you have what it takes to be a paranormal investigator like you see on TV? Join the BHA's 4th Annual Junior Ghost Hunting Camp! Campers who participate in this 3 day camp will learn the ins and outs of hunting for the paranormal from professional hunters. They will also learn about the exciting history of Brownsville with personal tours of each location. Each day, campers will explore a new location with a different ghost hunting group. The camp starts with a brief tour before being led on the hunting portion of this trip. Afterwards, the campers will enjoy a snack while reviewing the evidence they collected. The 2012 schedule is as follows: June 20 - The Oscar Dancy Building (Cameron Cty. Courthouse) Hunters: TBA June 21 - Location: Old City Jail Hunters: Graveyard Shift Paranormal Investigtors June 22 - Historic Alonso Building Hunnters: G.H.O.S.T of Willacy County The cost for this camp is $30 for the public and $10 for members. Included in this cost is your child's snack, private tour, private ghost hunt, personal ghost hunting journal and certificate after completing the camp. Pre-registration for this camp is REQUIRED and registration opens on Tuesday, May 8 and will close on June 15 at 4:00 p.m. Parents must register their children at our main offices at 1325 E. Washington Street. At that time they will sign the participation waiver and receive a detailed itinerary of the camp.
