Grave Subject: Education and the Old City Cemetery

As hundreds of children head back to class this August, they won't think twice about the people and places their schools are named after. But who are these people and why do they have the honor of a school named after them? Grave Subject will reveal the stories behind some of the names found in our cemetery and on our school marquees. This exhibit will open on August 1 and run through September 22nd at the Old City Cemetery Center. Admission is always free at the Center.
