Friday with the City | City of Brownsville Looks Ahead to Fiscal Year 2027

The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Brownsville, invites the community to the next Friday with the City, featuring City Manager Alan Guard, ICMA-CM, CGFO, on Friday, Sept. 11, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the CMD-CVB Complex, 1312 E. Adams St.

As Brownsville prepares for Fiscal Year 2027, Mr. Guard will provide an overview of the City’s financial outlook and the priorities shaping the year ahead.

The presentation will highlight key topics including revenue trends, FY27 tax considerations, capital investments and infrastructure projects, stormwater and resaca funding, and priority action items planned for the new fiscal year.

Attendees will also learn how feedback from Brownsville residents is helping guide City investments, services and future initiatives.
