Friday with the City

The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce invites you to join the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport team and the Brownsville Convention & Visitors Bureau for Friday with the City, where they will share how our airport is evolving and growing alongside the community.

This event will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 8:00 AM at the City of Brownsville Communications and Marketing Department / Convention and Visitors Bureau Complex, located at 1312 East Adams St. in downtown Brownsville. 

This session will introduce the airport’s new “Nice to Meet You” campaign: a fresh reintroduction of the airport and its role in connecting people, creating opportunities, and supporting local growth — and how the CVB is working hand-in-hand with the airport to turn that connectivity into real economic impact for Brownsville.

At its core, this presentation will be about partnership: how the airport, the CVB, and the community grow together, and how, by choosing to fly local and investing in Brownsville as a destination, we can continue building something we can all be proud of.

Friday with the City is an initiative of the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Brownsville, designed to keep the community informed about the city's ongoing growth, progress, and vision for the future.
