Family Nature Night
This free event offers your family the chance to venture outdoors to your local State Park and learn about a variety of interesting animals and plants that occur in Cameron County. This event is hosted every last friday of the month in the summer and features a different theme each time. The program includes a craft, 45min presentation, Nature Tram ride, and an optional evening hike with a park ranger. We suggest you bring water, walking shoes, and insect repellent!

Driving North on Highway 77/83 take the Olmito 1732 exit and head west. Pass the stop light at Carmen road and turn left at the State Park sign. Head south on New Carmen road approximately one mile and turn left at the entrance.
