Exploring Value and Talent Workshop | National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)

Join the Workforce Solutions Cameron, in partnership with the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce, City of Brownsville, and the Texas Workforce Commission - Vocational Rehabilitation Business Services, for an engaging and informative workshop designed to help employers build more inclusive workplaces.

This session will guide employers, small business owners, HR professionals, recruiters, and staffing representatives through the fundamentals of disability inclusion covering key concepts, best practices, and available resources that support the hiring and retention of individuals with disabilities.

Participants will:

• Understand the core principles of disability inclusion and accessibility 
• Learn about available tax credits, incentives, and on-the-job training programs for hiring individuals with disabilities 
• Gain practical strategies to foster inclusive recruitment, communication, and workplace culture
