Back to Basics: Crochet Your Own Towels and Washcloths
Are high prices in the stores pinching your wallet? Are you wanting to save some money but don't want to sacrifice quality? Have you ever considered making your own household goods? The BHA is introducing a new series that takes a page from Grandma's book and teaches you how to stretch a dollar without sacrificing quality. The series kicks off on May 5 and this month, you are invited to learn how to crochet your own towels and washcloths. The basics stitches and rules will be taught during the workshop to give students a solid foundation for future projects. By the end of the class, all students will have created hand towel and washcloth set to take home with them. The workshop is $8.00 for non-members and $3.00 for BHA members. Included in this price is enough yarn to make one hand towel and one washcloth and a size H crochet hook that students will be able to keep. Pre-registration is highly suggested for this program.
