75th Anniversary Celebration Event
Brownsville and history are synonymous and the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce is no exception. The beginning of the Chamber goes as far back as 1906. According to historical documents, area businessmen were known to assemble at various office buildings in downtown Brownsville before the association built its first office in 1927, a beautiful Spanish Style structure on East Levee Street adjacent to the Missouri Pacific railroad passenger depot.
