About Us

Founded in 1952, the Moody Clinic was created by a mother whose son suffered from Cerebral Palsy and was dismayed by the lack of treatment options available in the community. Seven decades later, the Moody Clinic now offers speech/language, feeding, physical, and occupational therapy to children with special needs from birth to age 21, including those with developmental delays, disabilities, and acquired injuries.

The Moody Clinic provides affordable services to thousands of children living within Cameron County. We help children gain the physical and cognitive skills necessary to learn, play, and move to their fullest potential. The rehabilitative services offered have improved the lives of many community residents.

The clinic has helped children maximize their potential by helping to improve their cognitive and physical abilities. Our experienced therapists work to develop a goal-oriented plan of care to fit each child's unique needs. Whether through therapeutic exercises, functional training, physical agents, or assistive devices, our goal is to maximize each child's functional independence, alleviate pain, and prevent secondary impairments.

Moody Clinic’s mission is to provide the highest-quality rehabilitative services that will create a lasting impact for those who would otherwise go untreated.
