Traffic signs, traffic signals, and parking are all integral to the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
Brownsville's Traffic Department provides the city with essential services with its 25 full-time employees. This department keeps Brownsville residents and visitors traveling smoothly and efficiently on local roadways. The Department's primary function is to provide traffic safety to the public and is divided into three Unique Divisions:
- Traffic Signals
- Traffic Signs/Markings
- Motor Vehicle Parking System
