After a 40-year career in broadcast journalism, Gloria Campos retired as a TV news anchor in March, 2014. Gloria started as an intern and scholarship recipient with KGBT-TV in the Rio Grande Valley in 1974 and joined that station full time in 1976. She worked there in a variety of positions before joining WFAA-TV in Dallas as general assignments reporter in 1984. She quickly worked her way up the ranks becoming the full time 5, 6 & 10pm anchor for the next 20 years in addition to producing the station’s weekly Wednesday’s Child reports for twenty years.
The 2016 Women in Leadership Speakers Series consists of three distinct events that feature women from our community, who will share how they balance their lives through crisis, family, faith, and career.
