Youth Mentored Dove Hunt

Open for Regular Dove Hunting Season. The Youth Mentored Dove Hunt is a special class is designed for the younger first time hunter. Registration begins at 8am sharp Saturday morning. Youth will be taught hun and hunter safety, good distance from game whilst shooting, and proper game cleaning techniques. To finish off the class, youth hunters will try their hand at clay pigeon shooting in the field. ********************************************** A regular permit (available at the site) is required to participate during these hunts. Hunter's may purchase $20 regular permit at check-in or may use the APH permit. The $20 regular permit fee is waived for persons possesing an APH permit and for supervised minors. Shotguns are the only firearms that may be used or possessed during these hunts.
