Stars and Stripes Walking Tour

Join guest guide Gene Fernandez on July's bi-monthly walking tour of the Old City Cemetery. This month, visitors will learn about the wars and conflicts that shaped Brownsville's early years and the veterans buried within the cemetery walls. For an extra $1.00, guests will be able to purchase a small American flag at the Old City Cemetery Center to place on graves in the cemetery. The tour is FREE for BHA members and Vets. Non-members are $3.00 per person. It is suggested that you call ahead to reserve your spot and to wear closed toed shoes while on the tour. Reservations and advance payment can be made by calling 956-541-5560 or visiting the Brownsville Heritage Compex at 1325 E. Washington Street.
