Recently, the City has been the venue for significant meetings with binational leaders from the U.S. and Mexico, including mayors from border cities, which underscores its role as a central point for collaboration and policymaking across national lines.

Furthermore, Brownsville's recognition as one of the top three tech hubs in the U.S., as recently reported by GLOBEST.com, highlights its unique blend of affordability and competitive tech salaries, making it an attractive market for tech professionals and industries. This recognition is further bolstered by the presence of SpaceX, enhancing the city's profile as a burgeoning hub for innovative and technological advancement in a small to medium-sized market.

Friday with the City is an initiative of the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Brownsville aimed at providing an update to the community about the growth, progress, and future of the city.
