Down on the Square Fundraiser

On 12 November 2011, the BHA will be hosting a fundraiser for renovation of El Mercado at Market Square. Guests will be able to preview the plans to bring the old city Market back to Market Square and renovate the current building to its former glory. Guests will enjoy a wine reception and preview the exhibit on the history of Market Square at the Heritage Museum before enjoying an evening of food, music, drinks, at Market Square. At Market Square, guests can tour the BHA permanent collection vaults, and view the Into the Wild West Edelstein Collection on permament display at Market Square Research Center. Guests to the event will hear first hand what the plans are for the restoration and renovation of Market Square. BHA will begin work at Market Square when Brownsville Urban System moves to their new location.
