Chalk Art
The Chalk Art Festival is open to all youth and adults who are interested in expressing their artistic talent with chalk using sidewalk space as their canvas. The CMB is proud to host the first ever Chalk Art Festival in the Rio Grande Valley. This year is our 3rd Annual Chalk Art Festival in Dean Porter Park and we are changing it up – we are allowing the contestants to bring their own supply of sidewalk chalk and/or pastel chalk to use. A towel and knee pad will be provided for all artists. Cash Prizes, music, games and fun in the sun are all part of this fantastic festival. For more information, call 956.548.9300.
