What is HUB Zone? What is an 8(a)? For qualified small businesses, the SBA HUB Zone Program offers an excellent opportunity to secure government contracts. The SBA Reauthorization Act of 1997 created the HUB Zone program with the intention of promoting economic development in historically underutilized business zones by establishing preferences for government contracts in these areas!
