In this workshop\, financial experts will provide information\, tips\, and resources to help you with your everyday finances and long-term financial goals.\n\n\n\nIn this workshop\, participants will:\n\n	Understand what a financial emergency is and how to prepare for it\n	Understand the importance of having an emergency savings plan\n	Learn tools and resources to develop and implement an emergency savings strategy \n	Develop skills to protect themselves during times of financial emergency or uncertainty \n\n\n\nAbout the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce\n\nThe Brownsville Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven business organization whose principal mission is to advance the business interests of its members through leadership\, advocacy\, civic involvement\, promotion\, and business-building initiatives.\n\n\n\nAbout BBVA \n\nBBVA's Center for Financial Education is an initiative to create opportunities for over 15\,000 people in 2020 by helping them increase their financial knowledge. Through financial education workshops focused on personal finance\, homeownership\, and small business\, BBVA Financial Capability Coaches promote the importance of financial health and share expertise with communities.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*** All participants that complete the registration\, pre-assessment\, and post-assessment will be entered into a $50 gift card raffle ***
