DESCRIPTION:Tune up your wing shooting skills before the Whitewing Dove Season this year at North Brownsville Rotary Club's 6th Annual Whitewing Tune-Up Shoot on Friday\, August 23\, 2013 at Loma Alta Trap & Skeet Club\, 500 Old Port Isabel Rd.\, in Brownsville. \n \nThe adult entry fee is $75.00 (men & women) and $65.00 for junior shooters under 18 yrs. Trophies awarded for 1st \, 2nd and 3rd places in men's division\, 1st and 2nd in women's division\, and junior's divisions\, plus Modified Lewis Class A\, B\, C and D winners. Entry fee includes 3 rounds (75 clay targets) on 5-stand sporting clay\, skeet and trap fields\, plus BBQ plate\, soft drinks and water\, and door prizes! A $25.00 one lump-sum Calcutta is available for participation by adult shooters only. \n \nRegistration begins at 5:00 PM. with first flight of the competition beginning after instructions to shooters at 5:30 PM. Registration ends at 7:00 PM. Practice at Loma Alta Club on Wednesday the 21st from 7 PM. to closing and prior to beginning of competition at $6.00/round. \n \nRegister early or at the event. Entry forms are available from any North Brownsville Rotary Club member and from any Loma Alta Club board members.
