Tanya's past experience has been the implementation of systems\, including the point of sale system for Victoria's Secret\, effective accounting and production management software systems for construction companies\, and creative financial solutions. She holds a Bachelor's from the University of St. Thomas\, Houston TX\, in International Studies and International Development with minors in finance and economics and a second bachelor's in Accounting from UTRGV. Recently\, she was awarded the IMA's Exemplary Young Professional Award for 2020 and is the incoming President elect from the IMA's Texas Regional Council. Tanya also sits on the global advisory committee for Diversity and Inclusion for the IMA in which a tool kit for business owners was recently published for small to medium business owners to use in measuring diversity in their businesses. Her hobbies include community service\, motorcycles\, and running after her two very active boys.
