DESCRIPTION:The Brownsville Police Department in conjunction with TSC will be hosting a Civilian Response to Active Shooter (Lecture-based) training session.\n\n\n\nThe purpose of this presentation is to afford citizens an understanding of the mindset necessary during a very unpredictable event. This training will furthermore give best practices in order to make life-saving decisions in high-stress environments. The attendees will also get a look at how law enforcement responds to such an event. The course provides guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
