DESCRIPTION:Join the flock this Saturday at Resaca de la Palma\, Brownsville's newly opened state park and World Birding Center\, as they hike several trails in search of a variety of birds that inhabit the park. The bird list is variable\, but possible encounters for this particular walk include a Groove-billed Ani or two\, Chachalacas\, Altamira Orioles\, Green Jays and Northern Waterthrushes\, just to to name a few.\nBird Walks are included in the general entry fee of $4. Discounts available for park pass holders and seniors. We reccomend you bring comfortable walking shoes\, water\, and proper clothing. Please call our office at 956.350.2920 for more information.

LOCATION:Heading north on expressway 83 take the Olmito (fm 1732) exit west approximately 8 miles. Just after a blinking light at Carmen road\, turn south on New Carmen road. Our park entrance will be approximately 1.5 miles down on the left hand (east) side.
