DESCRIPTION:The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce is collaborating with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the UTRGV Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) to bring you the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program + Overview of SAM.Gov workshop on Tuesday\, June 14\, 2022\, at 2 PM.\n\n\n\nThe federal government's goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses each year.\n\n\n\nAt this workshop you will learn about the Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB)\, the benefits of being a Women-Owned Small Business certified firm\, and if you qualify for the WOSB program.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, you will learn about WOSB's application process. If your business is owned and controlled by a woman\, you have a product or service you can sell to the federal government\, and you want to take advantage of federal contracting opportunities\, then this workshop is for you. This is a no-cost informational session.\n\n\n\nThe presenters will also cover the System for Award Management (SAM) and how to register.\n\n\n\nRegister today!
