DESCRIPTION:The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce is collaborating with the U.S. Small Business Administration to bring you the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program workshop.\n\nThe federal government's goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses each year.\n\nAt this workshop you will learn about the Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB)\, the benefits of being a Women-Owned Small Business certified firm\, and if you qualify for the WOSB program.\n\nIn addition\, you will learn about WOSB's application process. If your business is owned and controlled by a woman\, and you have a product or service you can sell to the federal government\, and you want to take advantage of federal contracting opportunities\, then this workshop is for you.
